TOBB Carbon Platform Project
"TOBB Carbon Platform" was established under the roof of TOBB in partnership with QNB and Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. and with Captanomy infrastructure. Introductory meeting of the Platform was realized in August 2023. It was created with the aim of contributing to the green transformation of businesses, guiding them in carbon footprint calculations and ensuring the calculation of their footprints. In the meeting, where information about TOBB's climate activities was provided and the attendance was very high, provided information about the new Platform as well as the sustainability needs of companies in Türkiye, new initiatives in this field and the supports to be offered. The Panel on Opportunities, Risks and Financing Opportunities in Carbon Footprint was realized with the participation of assistant general managers of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. and QNB.
In this regard, as QNB , we will guide our customers to this platform launched in collaboration with TOBB-Captonomy in order for companies to monitor their environmental performance and benefit from additional financial advantages during the term. We will cover the membership fee that our customers, who will use green transformation loans from our Bank, must pay to measure their carbon footprints on the Platform.
