Art for Sustainable Future

The exhibition "Breaking Point: You Write the End of the Story" which we realized with Artkolik Art Platform, met with art lovers at Kristal Kule on May 5, 2023.
The comprehensive exhibition of works created with waste materials by 30 artists whose work centers on the climate crisis and environmental issues is curated by Denizhan Özer and includes 60 works by important representatives of Turkish contemporary art including Bubi, Bedri Baykam and Mehmet Özenbaş.
The exhibition, which opened at the Bank's headquarters building, Kristal Kule, can be visited every Saturday free of charge until June 18.
"Breaking Point: You Write the End of the Story" exhibition, Özge Günaydın's "Rhinovella", a life-size rhinoceros made of recycled composite material, Mehmet Özenbaş's "No 7" to draw attention to the trees cut down in the Northern forests, Deniz Çobankent's sculptures made of construction waste, as well as many other works produced from waste materials are on exhibit.
Children's Art Workshops are also organized in parallel with the exhibition, drawing attention to the climate crisis and the ever-increasing environmental problems. In these workshops, organized in collaboration with Artkolik, children will produce works from waste materials under the guidance of curators Denizhan Özer, Uğur Kaya and Zahit Mungan.
