Since 2018, QNBEYOND, QNB Türkiye’s innovation and entrepreneurship platform, has played an important role in strengthening Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. Supporting both internal and external ventures, the platform consists of three main units: the Corporate Entrepreneurship Program, the Accelerator Program, and QNBEYOND Ventures.

Corporate Entrepreneurship Program

The Corporate Entrepreneurship Program aims to spread and support a culture of innovation throughout the bank while strengthening the bank’s competitive position with new products and services developed through the program. Within this scope, Fikir Kampı (Idea Camp), organized since 2019, provides an incubation environment for employees to bring their creative ideas to life. In 2023, the Fikir Kampı Training Program was launched for employees who are interested in entrepreneurship and wish to learn its fundamentals. Participants are supported with resources such as videos, books, and articles, while experiencing firsthand all the processes an entrepreneur may encounter through workshops and assigned tasks.

Until today, a total of six ideas have been brought to life within the scope of Fikir Kampı, three of which became spin-offs:

Kiralarsın; Graduated from the program in 2021, this venture allows secure rental of electronic devices, offering users the opportunity to try before buying, access the latest technology, and meet temporary needs.
Launched to the public in 2022, Kiralarsın became an independent company after raising investment in October 2022 from QNBEYOND Ventures as well as angel investors. It is also Türkiye’s first e-commerce company providing carbon-neutral deliveries. Kiralarsın calculates the carbon emissions caused by its logistics activities based on distance, product weight, and vehicle type, and offsets them through globally recognized carbon certification programs such as the “Gold Standard.”

İsrafvar; Developed to allow employees to report waste or inefficient practices, the project was piloted in late 2023 and scaled across the bank in late 2024. Including the pilot period, a total of 30 reports were received. As of 2024, a website was launched to share best practices, with plans to expand the initiative across the Bank and its affiliates.

Lidy; Designed to help individual and corporate users compare financial products and make informed decisions, while also ensuring faster access to banking services. With a simple and user-friendly interface, it can be effectively used even by individuals with limited financial literacy. Partnering with 16 banks and 5 payment institutions, Lidy makes it easier for users to access the most advantageous offers and provides instant credit solutions at the point of purchase. The venture plans to introduce new personalized features on its mobile app in the near future.

Accelerator Program

The QNBEYOND Accelerator Program supports early-stage ventures by providing a variety of mechanisms to accelerate their growth journey. Participating startups gain opportunities such as collaboration with QNB Türkiye, sponsorship from senior executives, mentorship, grants, investment from QNBEYOND Ventures, and access to a wide mentor and partner network.

So far, 51 startups have graduated across six cohorts. In 2025, Alkonos, Asepha, CompanyDNA, Eluvium, Flyway Health, New Frame, Onepath, and StarQuiz were selected for the 7th cohort.

ONBEYOND Ventures

QNBEYOND Ventures supports early-stage ventures in strategic areas by investing in them and helping them scale. In 2024, two new startups were added to the portfolio, while additional rounds of investment were made in existing portfolio companies HockeyStack and Kiralarsın.
As a corporate venture capital fund investing in early-stage technology startups and VC funds both in Türkiye and globally, QNBEYOND Ventures aims to position QNB Türkiye advantageously for the future of banking. It continues to invest in ventures that enrich R&D activities, reduce competitive risks, and help understand emerging technologies and business trends.

Our Memberships and Social Impact

In addition to the initiatives mentioned above, QNBEYOND aims to contribute more broadly to the entrepreneurship ecosystem through its memberships in the TÜSİAD Corporate Entrepreneurship Working Group and the Here2Next platform, which was established to promote corporate-startup collaborations.

QNBEYOND also benefits high school and university students through various activities. In recent years, it has supported university students' entrepreneurial journeys by providing case studies, jury support, awards, and venue support for the IGNITE event organized by the Koç University Entrepreneurship Club and the e-Founder event organized by the Boğaziçi University Operational Research Club (BÜYAK). Similarly, various efforts have been made to introduce high school students to entrepreneurship, allow them to experience it, and support them in the processes of finding and validating ideas. In 2020, mentoring support was provided to Hisar School students in the validation process of a problem they focused on in the financial sector. To spread and strengthen the impact of mentoring support, teacher training was provided to Hisar Schools teachers in 2023. In 2025, a 8-week entrepreneurship program was launched in partnership between Hisar Schools and Microsoft, with the participation of 5 high schools, where students will experience the validation process of an idea.

Projects Graduated from QNBEYOND

Operating like an innovation laboratory since its establishment, QNBEYOND has brought many experimental projects to life and delivers the graduated projects to different teams or subsidiaries within the bank.

The first of these projects, Digital Intelligence Q, serves as a digital assistant that recognizes QNB Mobile users, tracks their financial transactions, and provides reminders. Developed under the QNBEYOND roof and recognized with numerous awards for making a difference in the banking sector, Q learns its customers' regular transactions through pattern recognition technology and provides timely alerts in critical situations. Establishing strong interaction with customers through its personalized experience capability and user-friendly interface, Q continues its work under the Digital Banking organization as of September 2024.

Mono was born as one of the award-winning ideas from the 2019 Corporate Entrepreneurship Program. With QNBEYOND's mentorship support, Mono later became one of QNB Türkiye's subsidiaries. Initially aiming to solve the communication permission problem in the retail sector, the venture evolved over time according to needs, expanding its portfolio with products such as Mono Yemek Kartı (meal allowance card) and Mono Cüzdan (wallet). Today, it focuses on an innovative digital mall concept, aiming to transform the shopping experience.

The foundations of QNB Türkiye's open banking initiatives were laid at QNBEYOND, with the process later transferred to the newly established Cash Management department. The project to launch the developer.qnb.com.tr platform, where developers can easily access APIs offered by the bank, review technical documentation, and manage integration processes, was also managed by QNBEYOND. With its modern user interface, secure architecture, and comprehensive content, this platform became an important milestone in the Bank's digital transformation journey. Thanks to this work, which contributes to the open banking ecosystem, third-party developers and fintech companies can now access financial services more quickly and efficiently.

In addition, the project to achieve full compliance with the Payment Services Data Sharing Services (ÖHVPS) standard set by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) and the Interbank Card Center (BKM) was also managed by QNBEYOND. Within this scope, all APIs related to the Account Service Provider (ASP) and Authorized Payment Service Provider (APSP) roles were integrated. As an ASP, account information service and payment initiation service APIs were made accessible through the BKM API Gateway. On the APSP side, infrastructure was established to enable secure and standards-compliant communication with other ASPs. This ensures that QNB Türkiye fulfills its open banking obligations completely and sustainably.

Another project supported by QNBEYOND is the QNB Paylaş platform, which aims to foster a sustainable sharing culture among employees. Developed entirely based on internal dynamics, the platform allows QNB Türkiye employees to safely buy, sell, or rent second-hand items from each other. The platform offers a transparent and secure experience with its user-friendly interface, category-based filtering system, and listing approval mechanism. QNB Paylaş, which does not include any payment infrastructure, only enables employees to find solutions to their needs through mutual communication.
