QNB TURKEY WINS 5 INTERNATIONAL AWARDS FOR ITS CORPORATE CULTURE

QNB Turkey has achieved significant recognition both nationally and internationally thanks to its people-centric corporate culture and transformational cultural initiatives. With a total of five global awards, the bank once again demonstrated the strength of its human-focused management philosophy on the international stage.

As global conditions and the business landscape continue to evolve, QNB Turkey has redefined its corporate culture in alignment with these changes. This transformation has been widely recognized on some of the world’s most prestigious business platforms.

QNB Turkey received the following awards for its corporate culture transformation projects:

  • Silver Award in Achievement in Organizational Culture at the Stevie Awards for Great Employers (SAGE)
  • Bronze Award in Best Transformation Strategy at SAGE
  • Silver Award in Achievement in Human Resources at the Stevie International Business Awards (IBA)
  • Silver Award in Company Culture Innovation Disruptor Company of the Year at the Globee Disruptor Awards
  • Bronze Award in Best Corporate Culture Transformation at the Brandon Hall HCM Excellence Awards

Cenk Akıncılar, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at QNB Turkey, shared the following statement regarding the awards:

"Changes in the world and within our country — from crises to the pandemic — have transformed the way we work, along with expectations from both employees and customers. This prompted us, as an institution, to reevaluate the values and culture that unite us.

While redesigning our corporate culture, our top priority was to develop a forward-looking approach that meets future needs and sets a benchmark in the industry.

At QNB Turkey, our cultural purpose — “We go beyond expectations and create lasting value” — and our core values of “putting people first,” “trust,” “adaptability,” “pioneering spirit,” and “growing together” place people at the heart of everything we do. We act with the awareness that, before their roles as employees, customers, or stakeholders, we are interacting with people.

By listening and understanding those we engage with, and offering solutions that exceed expectations, we aim to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Throughout this journey, we launched our transformation with more than 14,000 bank and subsidiary employees. Through initiatives like the ‘Bize Değer’ (What Matters to Us) project rolled out in our branches, and over ten other HR initiatives, we successfully embedded our renewed culture into daily ways of working.

Our executive leadership and management team fully embraced this process from the very beginning. The awards we’ve received today reflect that this journey was built upon the right vision. However, what matters most to us is that our employees feel, embrace, and live this culture every day in a positive work environment.

We firmly believe that our corporate culture is the strongest foundation not only for today's success but for tomorrow’s achievements as well. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen our efforts with even more impactful projects to ensure the sustainability and expansion of this cultural transformation.”

QNB Turkey’s corporate culture transformation journey extends beyond internal operations and sets an example for the broader business community. The international recognition received reinforces that QNB Turkey’s experience can serve as a source of inspiration for other organizations. As the bank continues to adopt innovative practices to sustain its transformation, it also aims to contribute to the spread of more inclusive and employee-focused approaches across the business world.
